1. Who we are

Etsa is a marketplace operated by Live Lonke ICT. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in plain language.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, phone number, email, and role (customer or provider).
Location data: your delivery or pickup addresses, and, only while a job is live, your live GPS location so the provider can find you.
Booking data: services you book, quotes, payment status and history.
Provider data: identification documents, vehicle details and verification records needed to vet providers.
Technical data: device type, app version, and basic usage metrics used to keep the platform working.

3. How we use your data

To connect you with providers and process bookings and payments.
To display live tracking and update you about your job.
To verify and maintain trust in our provider network.
To improve the platform, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Location & permissions

Your live location is used only while a job is active and is visible only to the parties to that job (the customer, the assigned provider, and Etsa operations). You can share your location one-time, and can revoke permission in your device settings at any time.

5. Sharing data

We share data only where necessary: with providers assigned to your job, with payment processors to complete transactions, and with regulators where the law requires it. Any third parties we work with must agree to protect your data.

6. Retention & security

We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose, or as required by law. Data is protected with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular reviews. While no system is perfectly secure, we work hard to safeguard your information.

7. Your rights (POPIA)

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@livelonke.co.za.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use minimal, functional cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used at an aggregate level. We do not use invasive advertising trackers.
